Debra J. Layne, PT Email: Debralayne@aol.com Debra Layne, PT received her Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1975. She has been a private practice PT owner since 1978. The Colorado Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association voted her PT of the year, she has served as President of the Colorado APTA, and she has been elected to numerous PT Board of Directors positions and has served on many PT committees and task forces. She is passionate about the profession of physical therapy and its advancements.

Julie Byrt, MSPT Julie Byrt, MSPT graduates Suma Kum Laude from Regis University in 1997 with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical therapy. She also holds a certified Manual Manipulative Therapist certification from the Manual Therapy Seminars of Colorado. Julie specializes in treatment of the spine and chronic pain conditions in addition to orthopedic extremity injuries. She also has a special interest in pediatrics and vestibular therapy. Julie enjoys her free time running, hiking, skiing, cooking and chasing after her 2 children, Conor and Caeligh.

	Jon West, PT, DPT Jon West, PT, DPT graduated from the Colorado University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007. Jon specializes in the treatment of the spine and the extremities with an emphasis in manual therapy. He is passionate about patient education and following current research in the field of orthopedic physical therapy. In his free time, Jon enjoys playing basketball, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and son.
	Heather Laferriere, PT, MSPT, OCS Heather Laferriere, PT, MSPT, OCS received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2003. She has more than 5 years experience working in outpatient rehabilitation and has attended numerous continuing education courses. Heather became certified and an Orthopedic Specialist on 2007 and is currently working towards her doctorate in physical therapy at Regis University. Heather moved to Colorado in September of 2008 and is enjoying the mountains with her husband, Brian.
	Lesley Melichar Lesley Melichar has been the office manager at Coal Creek Physical Therapy since September 2004. She has extensive experience working with insurance companies to coordinate benefits. She serves an integral roll insuring the clinic functions smoothly and that the needs of the patients are meet. Lesley is a native of Colorado and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 2 children.
	Kendra Sanders Kendra Sanders is the right-hand woman to each of the therapists. As the aide, she works directly with the patients to facilitate exercises programs and pain control modalities. Working at Coal Creek Physical Therapy provides her the opportunity to continue her education and share her knowledge with the patients. Kendra graduated from Colorado University of Colorado on 2007 with a B.S. in Physiology. She hopes to continue her education and pursue a career in the healthcare field. Kendra is currently a member of the National Ski Patrol and Volunteers at the Loveland ski area. She is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys playing soccer in her free time.
