Kyle Kusunose PT, DPT
Kyle graduated from San Diego State University with his bachelors in Kinesiology in 2010 and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2014.
Kyle specializes in an osteopathic manual medicine approach called Counterstrain. He took his first Counterstrain course through The Jones Institute in 2012 and quickly realized the power of the technique through the successful treatment and alleviation of pain his patients experienced. He has now taken over 10 Counterstrain courses and began lab assisting for The Jones Institute in 2015. Kyle additionally has a strong interest in human anatomy and lab assisted in Anatomy for the University of Miami Physical Therapy School for 2 years.

Kyle believes in the power of manual therapy and practices a holistic osteopathic manual technique. He approaches his patients pain by understanding the relevant anatomy, its blood supply, its drainage, and its innervation from the nervous system. The Counterstrain approach allows him to diagnose and treat the major systems of your body that are causing your pain and additional symptoms.
Kyle is originally from Encinitas, California where he grew up playing sports and going to the beach. During his free time he enjoys playing basketball and beach volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends.
