James loves the human body and how perfectly it was made. However, the human body can pick up an injury or two throughout its lifetime. James believes movement analysis is the essence to help identify movement faults that may have led to an injury in the first place. Often times, the area that is injured is due to other parts of the body not doing their job. Treating the cause of the injury is just as, if not more important, than treating the source of pain. Educating patients is the heart of James’ treatment. Combining movement analysis, education, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy is the essence of James’ treatment philosophy.
James grew up in sunny southern California in Orange County. His fiancée, Betsey, and him drove out to beautiful Colorado to pursue their occupations in physical therapy. James is an avid hockey fan, reader, golfer, and loves to be outdoors, especially roaming through any bookstore he can find. He plans on learning how to ski in the Colorado mountains.
